Q: How does i2X helps me as a startup HUB?

i2X helps you by accelerating your startups, and building your brand among the seed stage investor community. By telling your startups about the i2X 60 second startup challenge, you help them get rapid feedback from seed stage investment experts, and to connect to a large number of leading seed stage investors. Once you registered with i2X (it's super quick!), your startups can enter your organization as their startup HUB, and every investor will see your brand associated as their favourite startup incubator, network or meetup.

Q: What kind of startups belong on I2X?

Our regional focus is the US and Canada, Europe and Israel. Currently, most of the i2X startups are SF Bay Area, Los Angeles and New York based. All i2X startups are disruptive technology startups, mostly with web-related business models. Besides consumer facing web, mobile, gaming and SaaS, Greentech takes an increasing share in the i2X portfolio. Most i2X startups are part of an incubator like Y-Combinator, TechStars and others. You won't find linear growth companies such as film, restaurants, classic maufacturing, retail, fashion etc., unless they are highly disruptive and have a revenue potential of >$100m within 5 years.

Q: I do feel weird about having my startups assessed! How do I know if they are ready?

i2X is designed around the needs and concerns of entrepreneurs and their mentors. Having been mentors and entrepreneurs ourselves, we know how sensitive the issue of negative signaling for startups is, and have made sure that our assessments can never negatively effect a startup. Here is why: Only if your startups get an A-rating, they are actually visible to investors on i2X. If not, they get feedback from us how to improve, and as long as they don't have the highest rating, no one except for their i2X Startup Analyst will ever know. So, worst case, your startups get free coaching in full confidentiality. Best case, they pass the i2X filters and become visible as one of the best startups in the world.

We know that you are very busy.
